Wherever battery-electric machines are operated without power infrastructure, there is a risk that the battery charge will run low before the work is completed. In these applications, the flywheel-integrated permanent magnet generator, fiPMG, reliably supplies power to the battery even under the harshest conditions, thus maximizing machine availability.
The fiPMG generators are suitable for use in hybrid systems, as backup during power outages, or for permanent energy supply. Drives with integrated fiPMG generators allow for longer battery-electric machine operation and thus help reduce emissions. If necessary, accordingly equipped machines can be used in emission-free operation. This relieves the combustion engine and is environmentally friendly.
With a low installation depth of 35 mm and a weight of 3 kg, engines with fiPMG can be flexibly integrated into nearly all types of machines, as no larger structural changes need to be made.
The continued presence of the power take-off makes the machine even more flexible in design. Being a pre-assembled and tested drive package, Hatz engines with fiPMG technology are easy for the machine manufacturer to install and mount.
The integration into the machine's battery charging structure is facilitated by the user-friendly application of CAN bus technology.
