The Extremely Compact Way of High-End Power Generation

The Extremely Compact Way of High-End Power Generation

fiPMG Generators

Hatz's flywheel-integrated permanent magnet generator (fiPMG) is suitable for use in hybrid systems, as an emergency generator or for continuous power supply.

Hatz's fiPMG technology can be combined with the 1B30E and 1B50E single-cylinder engines. The generator-motor combinations are available in vertical and horizontal configurations. Because the generator is integrated into the engine's flywheel, the fiPMG solution is only 3 kg heavier and 35 mm longer than the original engine. Conventional flange-mounted generators are approximately 350 millimeters long and weigh around 20 kilograms. With an average efficiency of 85 percent, permanent magnet generators are also highly efficient.

GD 3200 Silent Pack

The AC generators of the Silent Pack series are characterized by their soundproof construction, which, in combination with an extremely compact and lightweight design, offers high efficiency at minimal noise levels.

Flexibility in Drive Type: Diesel or Petrol Drive

The Silent Pack AC generators are available with either diesel or petrol drive depending on the requirements. These flexible options allow for choosing the ideal solution for different operating conditions and power requirements

Special RV Version for Mobile Use

The RV variant specifically developed for installation in vehicles such as mobile homes offers outstanding features. Notably, the diesel auxiliary tank, which is equipped with sensors and is automatically filled thanks to embedded logic in the E1 control unit. This intelligent solution simplifies operation and increases operational safety.

Generator Drive Engines

Hatz offers the full range of robust, electronically controlled, speed-variable, and efficient one-, three-, and four-cylinder engines. The electronic control allows the engines to be connected to digital systems such as fleet management systems. Continuous measurements, such as engine speed and fuel injection, provide accurate data on the load condition of the engine.

In addition to engine control, the ECU provides engine-relevant data via CAN J1939. For example, information about lifespan and usage or engine condition and service requirements can be easily read out. To protect the engine, automatic shutdown functions can be implemented. The use of digital engine analysis devices in maintenance is also enabled by the electronic control unit.
